Serbia and Slovenia: With the talents of the future for a competitive region

We present to you the e-booklet, which was made as part of our project “Serbia and Slovenia: With the Talents of the Future for a Competitive Region“, together with the event we held in Belgrade at the end of May.

“The Balkan countries are witnessing a remarkable increase in financial exchange, revealing the growing economic collaboration in the region. However, the sustainability of this deepening economic connection heavily relies on the availability of talented and capable workforce that can drive productivity, innovation, and growth,” says Maja Dragović, from our editorial team.

Exploring the ways in which digital technologies are changing the field of human resources (HR) was the main focus of our project. We aimed to identify best practices for leveraging these technologies and consequently improving results. Professionals from the region gathered at a conference in Belgrade, where experts from the fields of human resources, education, economy, and technology highlighted trends and plans for implementing digital strategies that can increase employee engagement, productivity, and business results.

We express our gratitude to our partners for their collaboration and successful completion of the project.

The final product is an e-booklet, which we present to you HERE. We wish you a pleasant reading.

Srbija in Slovenija: S talenti prihodnosti do konkurenčne regije

Consultation on the challenges of designing modern healthcare

The Slovenian healthcare system is currently at a crossroads, with certain areas in need of renovation to ensure they can deliver high-quality healthcare services that match modern, developed systems in Europe and worldwide.

Ljubljana, April 12, 2023 – The Institute for Strategic Solutions, in cooperation with the Slovenian Insurance Association, organized a consultation on Slovenian healthcare entitled Connected in knowledge – the path to quality healthcare. At the event, the actors who shape the healthcare system presented a view of what quality, accessible healthcare should be, at the center of which will be the patient and the healthcare service within a reasonable time. The participants agreed that we need to preserve the public health system in Slovenia. Long-term reform will need to rely on various sources of funding while respecting budget constraints. The population is aging and this will dictate more and more expenditure on healthcare in the coming years. We will have to aim for as many healthy, as few sick as possible, as few sick stocks as possible, and accessibility of health services. A compromise between the wants, needs and capabilities of all systems will be required. Above all, dialogue between all stakeholders will be necessary.

Posvet o izzivih oblikovanja sodobnega zdravstva

ISR je skupaj z Veleposlaništvom Slovenije v Črni gori, Slovenskim poslovnim klubom (Slovenački poslovni klub u Crnoj Gori), v partnerstvu z Gospodarsko zbornico Črne gore (Privredna komora Crne Gore), v torek, 21. februarja 2023, v Podgorici organiziral poslovni forum gospodarskega povezovanja z naslovom “Crna gora i Slovenija: Ekonomsko povezane, regionalno jače”.

Pozornost smo namenili gospodarskemu povezovanju Zahodnega Balkana.
